Resources
The WCNA is commited to promoting improvements to the West Central Neighborhood. We feel that this is an important part of Springfield for many reasons. It's closely located to downtown, making it very convenient for residents to stroll to restaurants, the movies, shopping and even to work or school. The area is slated for several rejuvenation plans, including the extension of Jordan Valley Park (called West Meadows) and Jordan Creek Greenway Trail. The historic, eclectic and diverse character of the neighborhood yearns to be respected for the benefit of everyday people.
There are several funding programs to help encourage home ownership and rehabilitation of sub-par properties in WC. If you have any questions, let us know and we'll be happy to steer you in the right direction!
